STATE GOVERNMENT SCHEMES

1.Jagananna Vidya Deevena (RTF):

The Government is providing full reimbursement to all eligible students to the respective College accounts on behalf of students. From FY 2021-22, the amounts were released to student's mother account on DBT basis.

2. Jagananna Vasathi Deevena (MTF):


The Government is providing an amount of Rs.10,000/- to each ITI Student, Rs.15,000/- to each Polytechnic Student and Rs.20,000/- to Degree and above courses students per year for Food and Hostel Expenses to every eligible students under Jagananna Vasathi Deevena (JVD) Scheme.

3. Jagananna Amavodi:

An Amount of Rs. 15,000/- financial assistance to each mother/ recognized guardian who is below poverty line, irrespective of caste, creed, religion and region to enable her to educate her child / children from class I to XII in all types of Schools/ Jr. Colleges from Academic Year 2019-2020.

4. YSR Vahana Mithra Scheme:

This scheme is implemented by the Transport Department to self owned Auto/Taxi/Maxi cab Drivers @ of Rs. 10,000/- to each per annum towards financial assistance for expenditure for Insurance, Fitness Certificate, Repairs and other requirements etc.

5. Support for Barbers, Tailors and Washermen:


Under this scheme an amount of Rs.10,000/- is provided as financial assistance to Barbers, Tailors and Washermen belonging to Christian community.

6. Support for Chenetha Weavers (Netanna Nestham):


Under this scheme an amount of Rs.24,000/- is provided as financial assistance to Chenetha Weavers belonging to Christian community.

7. YSR Cheyutha:


Under this scheme an amount of Rs.75,000/- in 4 years shall be released to eligible Christian women between 45 to 60 years age group.

8. YSR Aasara:


Under this scheme, Government will reimburse the outstanding bank loans of SHG women in 04 installments.

9. Law Nestham:


Under this scheme, an amount of Rs.5000 per month as a stipend to Junior lawyers

10. Financial Assistance to Hawkers (Jagananna Thodu):


Under this scheme, an amount of Rs.10,000/- will be provided as working capital loans to the street vendors who are find hard to carry their livelihood.

11. Mobile Dispensing Units:


Government proposed to distribute Public Distribution System commodities such as rice, dal etc., directly to the beneficiary houses instead of beneficiary going and collect from the Fair Price Shop Dealers. In this regard, Government proposed to provide 9260 Mobile Dispensing Units (MDUs) on loan basis to the eligible unemployed youth belonging to BC, SC, ST, Minorities, EBCs for door delivery of rice bags and other essential commodities.

12. Grant in Aid to Churches/ Church run Institutions/Burial Grounds:


The financial assistance is a grant for repair/renovation/improvement and also for new construction of Churches. Construction of compound wall/toilets/providing essential water tabs/bore wells etc. can also be taken up. The estimate of the work shall not exceed Rs.5.00 Lakh (for repair/ renovation/ construction of Churches. An amount of Rs.5.00 Lakh is provided as grant for Church run Institutions like schools, orphanages, old age homes. An amount of Rs.10.00 Lakhs is provided as grant for Church run Hospitals. The financial assistance for development of Burial grounds shall not exceed Rs.3.00 Lakh in rural areas and Rs.5.00 Lakh in urban areas and it can be used for construction of compound walls, gates, water supply, toilets, shelter, watchman quarter, land leveling repairs to existing structures, providing lighting, cement benches etc., Government shall issue the administrative sanction for release of funds. On receipt of order the Corporation shall release the funds to the concerned district Collector for sanction of works.



13. Christmas High Tea


Every year during the Christmas time, an amount of Rs.50,000/- per district is provided to the District Collectors for conducting of Christmas High Tea Programme in the district Head Quarters in order to promote fraternity, communal harmony and integration. The Hon'ble Chief Minister shall felicitate Eminent Christians who have excelled in different fields and rendered exemplary services in secular areas like Social Work, Medical, Education, Literary Pursuits, Fine Arts/Theatre during the Christmas High Tea Programme hosted by the Government.

14. Honorarium to Churches:


a) One-time grant of Rs.5000/- to Pastors during COVID lockdown: In the year 2020 during the lockdown period due to COVID outbreak 29,809 pastors have been provided financial assistance of Rs.5000/- each to a total tune of Rs.14.90 Crores.

b) Monthly honorarium to Churches: As per the guidelines issued by the Government vide G.O.Ms.No.52 General Administration (SC-I) Dept, Dt.14.05.2021 and G.O.Ms.No.34 General Administration (SC-I) Dept., Dt.10.05.2022. For the said scheme 10314 pastors have applied out of which 8427 pastors are eligible as per the guidelines issued by the Government.

During FY 2022-23, in the 1st phase an amount of Rs.20.78 Crores released and also expenditure incurred to 5196 Pastors Honorarium from August 2022 to March 2023 .

The Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Minorities Welfare was inaugurate the scheme of Pastors Honorarium on 18.08.2022 at Vijayawada.

And also in the 2nd phase an amount of Rs.6.46 Crores released and also expenditure incurred to 3231 Pastors Honorarium from December 2022 to March 2023 @Rs.5,000/- per month.

15. Pilgrimage to Holy land of Jerusalem and other Biblical places:


Under this scheme, subsidy of Rs.60000/- per beneficiary is provided whose annual income is below Rs.3.00 Lakhs whereas subsidy of Rs.30000/- is provided if annual income is above Rs.3.00 Lakhs. Additional amount shall be borne by the beneficiary.

    Pre Matric Scholarships (Government of India)

    Pre Matric Scholarships are sanctioned to students studying in a Government or Recognized Private Schools from Class iX to Class X. The annual Income of Parents/Guardian of the student from all sources should not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh.

    Post Matric Scholarship (Government of India)

    Post Matric Scholarships are awarded to the students, pursuing studies from Class XI to PhD from Government/Recognized private Colleges/including Technical and Vocational Courses of Courses of Class XI and XII level in Industrial Training Institutes/Industrial Training Centers affiliated with National Council for Vocational Training. And also those courses which are not covered in Merit cum Means based Scholarship. These scholarships are awarded to students whose Parents/Guardian annual Income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2 lakhs.

    Merit -cum -Means based scholarships

    Merit-cum-Means based scholarships are awarded to the students pursuing technical or professional courses at under Graduate/Post graduate level. These scholarships are awarded to students whose Parents/Guardian annual Income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakhs.

    Eligibility:

    1. Students who got admission into a College in Technical/Professional courses on the basis of competitive examination.
    2. Students who got admission without facing any competitive examination but should have got not less than 50% marks at higher secondary (Inter)/Graduation level.
    3. Students who are studying in Top listed Institutions of Govt. Of India are eligible for full courses fee and also given first priority in selection.
    4. Students who are studying in Institutions other than top listed Institutions are eligible for course fee of Rs.20, 000/- per annum or actual fees whichever is less.

    Procedure

    The students must submit their application through online i.e. http://epass.cgg.gov.in/.The hard copy (printout) of the application form along with required documents shall be submitted to the Ex-Officio District Manager, APSCMFC through the Schools/Institutions.

    The students pursuing post matric courses out side the State should submit applications through their colleges directly to the Dedicated Cell, Government of India Scholarships, APSMFC, 6th Floor, A.P. Haj House, Opp. Public Garden, Nampally, Hyderabad

    Documents to be submitted:
    1. Income Certificate issued by Tahasildar/Notarized affidavit on Non Judicial Stamp Paper.
    2. Bonafide certificate from School/College.
    3. Photo copy of bank pass book in joint account of parent and student
    4. Photo copy of previous year marks certificate (Progress report)
    5. Proof of permanent residence of parent/guardian ration card/voter Id/ electricity bill / gas bill.
    6. Photograph attested and stamped by Head master/Principal
    7. Minority Community Declaration- Notarized affidavit on Non Judicial Stamp Paper.
    8. Details of fee particulars and xerox copies of fee receipts

    Common Guidelines for Government of India Scholarships:

    1. The Student should secure not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination.
    2. 30% of Scholarships are earmarked for Girl students. In case sufficient number of eligible girl students is not available, then the balance scholarships are awarded to eligible male students.
    3. The Scholarship holder under this scheme should not avail any other Govt. Scholarship or stipend.
    4. Students who got Admission in other than category `A Convener Quota can also apply.
    5. Scholarships are limited to only two members in a family.

    Selection: Distribution of Scholarships is on the basis of

    1. Targets communicated by the Govt. of India among notified minorities Marks obtained in class XII (Intermediate) for under-graduate courses and in the case of Post-Graduate courses, marks obtained in the Under-Graduate courses.
    2. Students from BPL families having the lowest income will be given preference in the ascending order.
